In 2006 My class C license was suspended for 5 years for DUI. Does this eliminate any chance of getting my CDL?

Please, if anyone could help me with this question, I would be very grateful. By the way for those of you who may be wondering, I no longer drink, not for many years. It was a very difficult time in my life when I did. No excuses, just thought you should know. Respectfully, A.E. Pennsylvania
