Opinions on Good paying jobs for someone right out of school please?

I have 0 experience with work, but I did spend 8 weeks at school. Does anyone have any ideas which companies I should approach for a new job? Looking for decent pay, Health benefits. I live in Buffalo, NY. I do not might doing OTR, -Regional - local. Should I possibly do Dump trucks or any other class B? I have a class A, and like i said I was told I could make near $25 a hour ($50,000 a year) It doesn't seem to be the case :( Anything near that, heck $40,000 I would be happy with ($20 a hour). Please let me know if I am setting the bar too high? Thanks everyone.

Can I drive on Suboxone with a Doctors note? Sorry if already posted

Thanks everyone for the support and advice. I did notice that people does seem to be lower than my school teacher told me. I was told if I can average $25 a hour I am doing something wrong. But hey... I get it... He's trying to sell his product. He got his $4,500 for school that's for sure. As for the Med I am on... I will do my best to find out if I can. I think my best shot is to actually go to a DOT doctor like you said and ask.

I will be honest. I failed my first DOT (before school) because I mentioned Suboxone.

Then I got a doctors note, but didn't say anything to the 2nd DOT doctor somewhere else. I passed. But from what I heard is if you start at a new job they will redo the DOT exam. I dont want to risk not saying I'm on it and it showing up. Im going to just be straight about it. I had an opiate addiction. I was put on Suboxone and everything in my life started to get better. I can assure you, that after the first week of using it you feel 100% normal. I even came across studies that shown that reflexes do not change.

As for searching google, I have probably spent 2-3 hours already and have no certain answer. Yet I know someone who I met at my doctor who started suboxone at his job.

I appreciate all the support once again. If anyone has any suggestions for companies to start off at I'd appreciate it. I must have applied to 20 jobs already and am very scared to pull the trigger. I'd love to work local, I live in buffalo NY, but I know that probably wont happen. I am willing to work Regional or even over the road if the money is there.

This is stressing the hell out of me. Im trying to better myself and I have hit soo many road blocks. I was about to get hired for Western Express for 50 cents a mile.. My first job.... was going to make $1,000 a week which was my goal. Now it looks like I wont make anything near that... let alone get a job while Im on this medicine. Blah... So stressed.

1) Subs allowed?

2) Is it possible to be out of a school and make $25 a hour or close to it?

Thank you
