I am at the age and time Where I want to finally get my foot in the door in The trucking industry I recently applied to Prime for paid CDL training and I qualified for everything except for verifiable previous work history, i have a great background n driveing record I'm 25 years old and have never had a ticket I take pride in my driveing record but doesn't seem to matter with the paid training programs if you do not have verifiable work history they will not help you it seems like,.. few years back I hit a all time low n was homeless as a of the age of 17 didn't have help so I worked were I could to get by and struggling Trying to find stable jobs was hard here not only is this embarrassing because my young age when I was homeless I mainly worked day to day cash Paying GIGs while I could, I even tried to go to college for mechanic but short on cash and the student loans department Would always pay us late to keep going everyday forced me to stop, n I've been working few good jobs in the past years paid under the table to make more money my employers helped me out by doing this because i had been living out of my car while I workd hard and I want to get started and better my life but how can I get passed this work history problems I've had, recruiters have talked to my previous employers they could verify that I worked with them and I am a hard worker and are more then willing to help me out as much as they can but since I was being paid cash i can't get paperwork proving I was actually there I'm stuck and feel like the closer I get The further away I get any help or suggestions I am currently living with a friend n I want to get my career started now I have the time and some money saved to get my by while I go to training
