Tips on big city driving?

I am a new solo driver and I am wonder if anyone has tips on driving through major cities? I was driving through Jersey last week with 42,000lbs of paper rolls and by the time I delivered I thought I was about to have a heart attack! lol but any tips of being safe or anything would be great

Questions on " The High Road CDL training Program"

The training on this site is the only material I used to study for my CDL. I passed all three test with 100% Not to mention when I got my cdl permit and went to swift academy when they sent me through the Log book and hazmat classes I already knew everything. I have recommended this site to everyone I have came across looking for any information on anything to do with trucking. You don't need the book you don't need to pay a different site. If you take the time to go through the training here I would be surprised if you failed.

Big, small, or in between

I just started solo with Swift. I went through their school / mentor program and they gave me a 2014 freightliner right out of the gate. So far I have been getting 2300 to 3000 miles a week. They have plenty of loads as long as you can prove you can and will run them without getting any service failures. I don't know how much XP or money you have but if your just starting out I don't recommend buying your own truck. If you are just starting out I would check out swift school. I went through their school in Memphis TN and only have a few negative things to say about it. If you do have any questions about the school just let me know. Have a good one

Just wondering. am I the youngest one here?

Im 25, I just started driving for swift a month ago. I think most companies like you to be 23 "for insurance reasons" to drive a semi. not sure though so don't be surprised if im wrong. Im sure someone else on here would be able to correct me if im wrong.
