Bird's Girl's Bio

Wife of an old school driver who's looking to get back in the game. His family calls him "T-Bird" which makes me "Bird's Girl." We've been married 30 yrs, still madly in love with each other and are planning out the 3rd chapter of our lives now that the kids are all gone. Hubby will do the driving and I'll be creating a home environment for him in the rig. Really looking forward to being on the open road together. Will probably ask a LOT of questions about cooking in the cab, organizing the sleeper, storage ideas, etc. 🚚

Hair Care On The Road

Will be riding along with my husband once he goes thru training. My question is, how do you ladies keep up your hair color on the road? I'm not a "salon" type of gal & have always done my coloring at home. Don't know how to work that out living in a semi. Should I just let it go grey & be done with it? I'm closing in on 50 so there's probably a LOT of grey to keep covered. Thanks ladies 😊

Storage Tips & Tricks

Would love to hear about some of the creative and innovative ways you guys store your belongings in the truck. Given the limited space in the sleepers, I'm sure some of you have come up with some brilliant ideas and how to do more with less. Attach pics as well if you like.

Thanks 🚚

Cooking Meals On The Road

Will be riding along with the hubby once he gets hired somewhere. Been hearing a lot about saving money by preparing your meals on the truck. How does this work? What kind of appliances do you need and can you eat healthy while OTR? Thanks 🚚
