Hello Everyone,
I was making this post because i am going to either be going for my CDL-A or B. It seems for Waste Management, you need a class b license. I was wondering peoples thoughts on Waste Management. I am going to be going to driving school for 8 weeks. I would like to get a job with Waste Management for my first job.

Considering Truck Driving in New Mexico
Hello All,
I am writing because i am about more than half way through my CDL manual. I plan to go through the rest of it by tomorrow and take the test by the end of this week. This is something i consider doing but not across state to state. I plan on doing this within the state of New Mexico traveling within New Mexico or Albuquerque everyday, so i am home to see my kids. I want to work with Coca-Cola, Lowe's, Beer distributor, Garbage man to start off.
I guess i am looking for feedback from any truck drivers from Albuquerque local metro area or the state of New Mexico that taken their CDL without driving school. Also, ones that have taken it with driving school. I plan on going to CNM for my truck driving school. If you have taken the truck driving school at CNM i would love your feedback. Any feedback in general would be great. I guess i am just trying to pick what is the best option for me. If i should go to school or not. Or if i should do this or not.
I think i am going to be able to ace the written exam no problem. My worries are when it comes to the actual driving test itself. Doing the pre inspection, basics, and the driving test. Today i was practicing reversing a trailer and double clutching. I think i can get those down no problem with a couple of more tries. I have a friend that use to be a driver and he says he loved doing it. I just hear some horror stories online about you don't get paid that well and so forth.

Are the trucks automatic or standard?
