I was born and raised in Reno, NV. When the economy tanked it took my career of 20 plus years with it. So, I went and spent the most intense month of my life and got my CDL with all the endorsements in 2011. I now pull doubles and triples for FedEx Ground and run Donner daily, sometimes twice. I couldn't be happier with my decision to drive a truck. Chaining is a bit of a challenge since the chains weigh as much as I do, but I get it done and do it well.

Will be riding along with my husband once he goes thru training. My question is, how do you ladies keep up your hair color on the road? I'm not a "salon" type of gal & have always done my coloring at home. Don't know how to work that out living in a semi. Should I just let it go grey & be done with it? I'm closing in on 50 so there's probably a LOT of grey to keep covered. Thanks ladies 😊
I use Clairol Root Touch up, it only takes 10 min. It will match any color you may be using. Super easy quick fix and it wont wash out.
Did you know you can fill out one quick form here on TruckingTruth and apply to several companies at once for paid CDL training? Seriously! The application only takes one minute. You will speak with recruiters today. There is no obligation whatsoever. Learn more and apply here:

A good company to start with.
Werner was my starter company, for me they were a good starter company, the pay sucks but the first year or two you wont make a lot of money. BEWARE of CR England!! They will ruin your career if they decide they don't like you or if you make a mistake. CR England will go after your safety record with or without cause.
