Where on the net are the best and most accurate practice tests to prep for a CDL in Texas? I got this software from this one site for they promised their test are accurate well they weren't...Their airbrakes for Texas CDL were nothing like the real test. I failed miserably. I really want to know the tests, learn the answers and just move on man....

I only need General Knowledge, Airbrakes, and Pre-trip and I'm done.

Yes I do love RPGs, it's my favorite genre. I'd actually like to keep up with an MMO OTR, but man that's gonna be hard...

It just depends on the miles you run I think. You don't necessarily have to run as hard as your hours will let you--you just won't get paid as well, but it's still pretty good pay IMO. I think the main concern would be with data usage, but I guess you could just use wifi at truck stops and McDonald's if that's a problem. I stick to offline stuff like Skyrim personally. It's just easier to pull it out for a few minutes at a shipper or wherever.

Fortunately for me, I currently use Verizon WiFi at home because it's my only option and I know it works fantastic most the time and the MMO I play (FFXIV) barely uses much data at all. No seriously I can get a ton of play out of this game and barely use any of the data. Mainly just trailers and stuff on the computer drains it. + Verizon has fantastic freaking coverage so I think I'm good man XD

Heck yeah! You'll probably only squeeze in average 30 minutes a day if you get good miles but it's totally possible. I don't know if you're into RPG's much, but if you plug your computer into the truck speakers and close the sleeper curtains so it's really dark, it almost feels like you're inside the game.

Be honest with me guys. I love video game and would like to game a bit on the side OTR. But I know trucking tends to have long hours and even in your off time you need that time to zzzzzzz... So is there any legit time to game or is this a pipe dream? Surely I could squeeze a little time in....

I looked online and this company seems to have great reviews from people who have/did work for them. Better than most! And when I looked at their training regimen it seems fantastic actually. You get a mentor etc. But site really does make it seem they are dedicated to making the training great. But could I get some opinions from people who have worked there? This really is like the #1 company I'm looking at to work for really.

I mean what does it do exactly? To me seems like it's putting a vehicle in new "gears" so it can handle itself at higher or lower speeds? But what exactly does this? Can someone explain it to me? What's the purpose? Never driven a manual before ever and I'm going to have to learn at school to past tests..

I want to work for Prime myself. It's like the #1 company im thinking about.. I just started trucking school. I just want to be GOOD at the job (not screw up badly and have fined and stuff). I think I can deal with everything else.

Oh, and this "Monthly Summary Sheet" thing with the 3 columns is hugely confusing and completely went over my head. Didn't help I got soo little sleep for first day of class tho....

Sheet with the "A" "B" "C" and you figure some numbers or something.

Starting to think a lot of this stuff would make much more sense if I could actually do the job rather than stuff in a classroom
