Hey yall...........................

Love to drive...may as well do what I have thought of doing for awhile now! Have decided to get my CDL and get on the road. I am being smart about this and not allowing anyone to talk me into something I don't want to be stuck with. Am searching school options for CDL training and really like the pr My hope is to find a good company with 99 - 100% No touch freight and Regional or closer to home company with a little more home time. I definitely want a company that will allow "Jimmie Rooster Cogburn" my dachshund buddy to go with me. Any suggestions for Houston Texas area companies would be appreciated.

OMG getting started was excited and now...I'm bummed

Hey....I was so excited to get started and made the call today.I was told by Knight Transportation that they are not training for CDL except up north somewhere and for that state only. My problem is getting my CDL training and working the job I have...which would be impossible. I was really likeing Knight because of the different opportunities, paid training, time home and I can take my dachshund Jimmie with me otr. I need to know another avenue to get help with my CDL asap with paid training.Obligation is fine except I need more home time availability and want Jimmie with me. Any more ideas,thoughts etc......
