Made a embarrassing rookie mistake

Something I’ve done a few times over the past almost seven years myself is unhook from a trailer while forgetting to unhook the air lines. It had a been a long time since I’ve done it. Than about a month and a half ago I did it. And then a week later I did it again. Unfortunately the second time I stretched out the coils in the harness, and had to make the drive of shame into the shop to get em swapped out.

We have new trailers that you have to crank from the right side instead of the left. That threw me off. Not to many sounds I hate more than hearing the thud of the Gladhands smacking against the back of the cab.

What NOT to eat. Nutrition on the road.

I’m certainly intrigued by the diet but would have no idea where to start. Seems like it would be expensive to do on a regular basis. Am I wrong?

What would be say an affordable example of doing this diet on a daily basis. My diet is really no set diet. I try and keep soda, sugar, dairy to a minimum and have been trying to drink more water.

I’ll grab a 12 dollar bag of jerky from time to time that only ends up being barely half full anyways lol.

My run was cut

That’s some timing because I was meaning to ask you if you were staying busy or not. We’re slammed right now but we’re short guys and it’s the holidays.

Makes for a busy time when hauling groceries but it usually slows way down after the holidays.

Happy Veterans Day

A little late in the day for it. But thanks to all the veterans out there. Hopefully you were able to get something out of it today.

Inward Facing Cameras & AI

Gonna vary by company. As long as you’re not trying to eat 5 course meal while driving it’s not an issue. I eat granola bars and drink coffee while driving all the time.

So your not allowed to drink or eat a snack when you drive?

Getting hired after a wreck..

I agree with everything Turtle said. I feel though he shouldn’t completely give up on a Sysco. Your husband should just give them a call as soon as possible.

Let them know what happened and see if they want to continue in the process since he already had the in person interview. They may in fact decided to continue to move forward in the process. If not stay with the current company for the time being.

Is this a problem?

This guy certainly wouldn’t think so.

We would love to hear your opinions on the coaching experience!

A good portion of the members of this forum have been driving for several years, and have been active on this forum for that same amount of time.

It would appear to me based on interactions I’ve seen on here, we all do our best to be safe out here in the road. We don’t need coaching or incentives to do so.

Craigslist ads

Man it’s been awhile since I’ve looked through those ads. I honestly thought Craigslist was pretty much dead. I’ll have to look at em for amusement later. They are definitely enticing though to someone who just doesn’t know.
