Basic math tells me that Technically it "IS" possible.. Though, not likely.
If you drive your 11 hours, at 64 the ENTIRE WAY, no slowing down, absolutely no traffic. You can cover 704 miles.

I applied there, and had to call them to talk with anyone. Having been a touring musician... work isn't always verifiable. I have some 1099's here and there over the years. But they don't look that good when you see less than $3k on each year. But I made a lot more than that... Lets just say.. Cash is King to a musician when you are away from home and can't deposit checks into an ATM without being charged a fee. Plus when all expenses are being paid while you are on the road, your actual income can be less. When I don't have to pay for food or lodging or any consumables. (Sticks, Heads, ect.) I can make a lot "less", but still come out ahead. And when I was not on the road I was a Stay At Home Dad, and home schooled 3 children. For some reason they see that as "unemployed" even though I work harder at home, than I do when I am out working.
Good Luck with Prime. So far Swift is the only company that I have applied for that has called me back. Sorry to have hi-jacked your thread.
And now, back to your regularly scheduled programming.

I am also a drummer debating getting into trucking. I have toured the country in bands, and understand the life style. Although, most of my nights were spent in hotels, not in a bunk. Either get a small 6" practice pad, or the DW Go Anywhere Practice Kit.

Is Winter driving on your mind?
I am in the debate of going OTR. And after training it would put me solo in December. I am really not wanting to take mountains in the winter without having mountain experience during "normal" conditions. So that has me a bit worried. I may live in Texas, but I lived 17 years in Michigan and drove through all that Lake Effect snow. I can handle snow like its just another day when I am in a 4-wheeler. But 70k+ lbs behind me has me a bit worried. Every year there were massive Accidents on US-131 Between Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids. And on I-94 Between Chicago and Detroit. All that is flat. So it has me kind of worried about the mountains. Even though I am pretty sure 90% of the accidents through there were cause by Cars, not semi trucks.
