Schneider, Ctl, Superior

Hey all. Doing a refresher later this month so I can sign up for Schneider National. A year ago I got my CDL but wanted to spend some time doing more research and well SNI seems like the place to start. I would train in Phoenix, AZ. Not sure what it is like down there. Guess I will start with Dry van and once I make the move to the midwest (something I've been wanting to do) I will look into Tanker/Bulk (if that is the same thing). Seems like most SNI drivers like it.

First week of Solo-ing out.

Have you been having to do paper logs then? Is that pretty easy to pick up? I only got limited experience at the truck school I attended.

Is western express a good company to work for?

Hey guys I'm going to inform you that Western Express is a great company. I've been with them since November 3rd 2015. The only problem is the home time my dispatcher gets me out 5 weeks the most and then only home for 2 days. I've been fighting for months have me out at least 2 to 3 weeks then home on the weekends.

Man that sounds rough...5 weeks out. Must be good money at least? I keep hearing Western take money from your paychecks or you earn 300 bucks a week. Is that all true?

Navajo Express or Werner?

Well Knight never worked out for me. I know Navajo have no terminals in the NW except Boise. So not sure how they would give me hometime. Werner would be the same thing. Hear they are really bad from what I've read about.

Navajo Express or Werner?

Hey all. I am a recent CDL graduate and scheduled to go with Werner to start off with. I tried many local and better companies but the only ones who offered me work were Schneider, Werner, Swift, Navajo, and Knight.

I operated a 10-speed at CDL school and hear Werner have both 10-speeds and autos. Most are telling me though that Navajo is a better company with better trucks but only have 10-speeds.

I am based in the NW. Training for Werner is in Fontana, Navajo in Denver.

I read a few posts here of Navajo. Any suggestions? Thanks

Roehl driver training from start to end.....

Hey I will be starting Roehl Flatbed training later this month in Phoenix. Looking forward to it but wondering what the pay is like or what the trucks (silver) include? Looking forward to it.

Month since graduation.

Hey all. Well I graduated with a CDL about a month ago. Past month I only got offers from May and Schneider. Problem is May I've heard some not to over the moon things and Schneider's training is all the way in Fontana and they want me to ride a bus there. I'm hoping to fly if they will cover that but my question is if I wait any longer will I be ineligible to be hired? It's already been a month and I am a bit worried.

Thanks all.
