I'm trying to get my CDL B so I can drive school bus and charter bus in Delaware. I had no issues whatsoever with my Passenger, School Bus and Air Brake tests but I did just barely fail the General Knowledge test. The questions that threw me for the most part were questions about manual transmissions which I know absolutely NOTHING about. I also had memorized the stopping distances at various speeds by actual measurement and not by length of a football field. I took the test on this site and only missed 5 out of 70, just HOURS after failing the DMV test. Go figure. What am I doing wrong? My fiance is a certified trainer on MANY vehicles, including class A and B vehicles, for the Air Force so hopefully he can help me tonight. He actually trained people how to drive trucks in Iraq when he was deployed over there a few years ago.
I'm pretty frustrated with myself at this point :(
