Thanks for the review on Millis. I am looking at them or Roehl for training here in Georgia. Now did you have prior CDL experience and was doing refresher training or did you obtain your CDL through their training?

Finished training at Millis Transfer in Ga. Trainers were all outstanding. Learned a lot in the three weeks of training. Professional and understandable Instructors. I'd highly recommend this school for those wanting to be trained properly and safely. Brett, this site totally prepared me and helped me to choose the best company to start with. Spoke with many drivers who've been here for years and don't want to leave because they get consistent miles. Very veteran friendly too.

See thats what i was thinking also but i went yesterday had everything in order got a 2 year just dont want it to bite me in the butt later on

I would not work like that Im not going to run a few hours to just stop and start back at Midnight i stay out 3 and a half weeks 1st 2 weeks ill reset each week then recap till i get home when i reset i get 1200 mile runs on recaps i get local driver stuff little 300 mile runs

My FM doesn't allow them. If I have five hours left on my 70 he wikk run me that five hours then get my hours at midnight.

Only get 34/on home time

If you go for a physcial and you got all your usage reports can you get a 2 year card or are you limited to a 1 year

I went for a physcial when I first started and told the doc i no longer use Cpap due to life style change he gave me a 1 year card ... Fast foward the year went back doc told me before she even started id need sleep study and since my card still had a little over a month left she said she advised me not to do it. Anyway went to my doc got my old sleep study got a new mask started useing it again went to Doc got a 3 month card was told to come back with usage report ... Anyway i got a print out for 30 days and was at 99% the 25th will be 60 days b I have to have a new physcial by Nov 3rd how many days will they need to see to get a new year card or will i have to keep going every 3 months

I started school with Millis Transfer in Oct. NOV. I left for road training due to all the Holidays and my trainer going home i didnt get my own truck until end of Jan .. in my class was 7 people 4 of us went Otr other regional ... the other 2 Otr drivers trained in a auto so they got 2014 to 2015 auto trucks when they got done I trained in a T700 10 speed so no restriction and when i got my truck i got stuck in a 2013 T700.. However they called me up to Black River i now have a brand new T680 still has new truck smell comapny pays for the dirctv and sxm radio it has so many cool features my only complaint is backing under a trailer but its getting better ...... AND a side note out of my class of 7 only 3 left weird how they just bailes on a 6k contract Im loving it here
