IMG_7240.jpg I'm also part of the sparkling personalities club. So new I had to put my own inspection stickers, rip plastic off of everything, and apply my ez pass and pre pass to the window. However, here's a tip. When doing a pretrip, make sure the coolant cap is on tight. I broke down 80 miles away. I've always looked at the coolant but never ensured cap was secured. I am a Primate now tho. #winning Be safe everyone!!! It's a crazy world out there.

Oh yeah. I forgot to mention. I did a run from Sierra Nevada beer place north of Yuba City and the Qualcomm took me thru Marysville to over to Roseville. The drive thru Marysville had me on edge. That road had turns that were so tight thru downtown and under railroad bridges. I didn't think I'd make it thru there. I still don't know why it just didn't have me stay on the 99 a better road. Marysville was crazy to me at 20 mph.

Like you said. So much to learn. I'm on my last run across America and then it's upgrade time. I hope Kalifornia is still there when I get back. Heading into NYC area. Wasn't sure if I'd make it thru TNT. Thank Gawd for sleeping pills.

OMG. Miami. I was at Prime Floral and there were like 50 trucks waiting to park and lots of traffic preventing that in a very tight spot. I hope I never run in to that situation again. I'm on my last cross country trip to NJ / NYC and it's time for me to upgrade. Been a crazy TNT run. Taking some much needed time off in Cali. Goin back to Cali. Cali Cali.

Lucky you to be in a hotel. When we broke down we stayed in the truck. Still plugging away tho. There were moments I thought of walking away. Believe me, I've seen some krazee shizznit in such a short time. I got like 13,000 more to go. Wishing you the best.

Random Funny Stuff

Maybe I'm just not right in the head but when I'm in Kentucky and I see shirts and stickers in the gift shop that say "I LOVE KY" It just kinda cracks me up.

TNT Question

I'm up over 17,000 miles in my TNT phase. I've considered at some points calling it a day and walking home out of frustration and missing California. I've seen so much insane events since day one. Accidents of other truckers, deer in my headlights, flipped off by super truckers, the snow, the rain, the uneven and narrow construction zones, the accidents, the ignorant drivers, sleeping pills that don't put me to sleep while bouncing around in sleeper berth, coffee that doesn't keep me awake while driving, dreaded city driving, tight areas for dock parking, traffic hell, Qualcomm navigation issues, truck breakdowns, rejected loads, and the once in a while beautiful showers. Ahhhh yesss. Showers. I ask myself.... what the hell am I doing? But then my paycheck shows up on Friday and reminds me of the bills I have to Pay and Reading some of the stories by Rainy D. and others really helps me to get a grip on myself. Such a short time and so much happening. I'm almost there. A billboard on the I-80 of John Wayne saying how he doesn't like quitters. We got this my TNT brothers and sisters. It's just a short phase of trucking reality and then we gotta make it do what we make it do. I wish you all the best. good-luck.gif

I'm still with ya. Dreading the whole TNT thing but I know in the end there is a HOLY GRAIL. I'm driving a manual which I've never done till I got to Prime and when I'm on city streets my anxiety is at a high but I'm still in it to win it. Very sleep deprived on these leftover winter roads from hell. I was at home for a week and realized how much I'm needed there so my goal is to eventually land a job with more home time. When I'm done TNT and upgrade to a phat ride, my girlfriend should be coming along. I hope she can handle this. I'm mostly doing this for her. Wishing you the best. Safe travels. We'll be done quicker than we know it.
