I started my driving career with Stevens. I drove for them for 2+ years and decide to drive local. I am now considering going back to them. When you start out with them the trucks are governed @ 62 mph. Then when you get 2 years seniority the governed speed goes to 66 mph. I got three brand new trucks while driving for them as a company driver. I was also on the Kraft Food Groups dedicated team which was very nice. Kraft loads were generally very heavy loads. I would recommend them for a new driver because they (Stevens) are SAFETY conscious & training is continual on all subjects. The trucks have APU's which in my opinion is very nice. Qualcom units are optioned with omnitrac's GPS with fuel stops and recommended routing. If you have any question's contact me.
