Thanks Old School. So far I am keeping a positive attitude and looking foward to the training.I am also the type of person that hear but don't listen to a lot of negative from elsewhere . I like to make my own judgment as far as important decision making. If not for that,l would not be here now, because of family and friends with those kinds of negative attitudes. I have every intention of making my decision into a positive experience.
Thanks Michael. We may cross paths sometime.

I have been accepted by CRE and am supposed to start there training on june 27.I have mixed feelings about this but am going to give it a try regardless. Anyone on the forum that can give me some friendly advice , please do so.I already have my CLass A,but never used them. (3 years).I was told that I would do a 10 day/2week refresher and than go with a trainer.Has anyone else on the forum been through this with CRE ?
I have. I was with them for 4 years as a lease driver. It's fast paced there. Be ready for it. You will have it easier since you already have your CDL and you will practice on the backing pad just like everyone else.
Thanks for the info , it gives me some encouragement knowing you was with them 4 years.

Welcome aboard Justmeblessed!
Why do you say you have mixed feelings about it? I'm asking because life on the road will test you to the core at times. Almost everyone thinks about walking away from trucking during those first few months on the road. So if you're going in there thinking, "Well, I'm not really sure if this is where I want to be but I'll stick with it if I like it" then it probably won't last very long or end well.
So I'm just wondering if you're concerned about working for CR England or maybe just getting out on the road in general?
Thanks. My concerns are mainly for the company .I am a 48 year old female and I have heard a lot of horrer stories said about CRE.I feel ready for the road and excited to be going.I was more interested in Celedon as a company , but CRE was who I got the call from. So, I said sure why not .I have got to start somewhere.
