Yasir, these days I'm fortunate to have a reputation that allows me to work anywhere I desire. It wasn't always that way though. I understand all about rejection. I got sent home like you three different times! There were quite a few companies that rejected me during the application process alone.

I'm telling you all that so you'll realize that many professional drivers have a rough start at this. How you start isn't nearly as critical as how you finish. Your performance is always the critical component.

Dear sir, Thank you for your time. I just got call from CRST( thanks to truckingtruth). I told her the whole story upfront . She said once you get home. Get cdl permit from ur state then has to call her back. Since they are first to call me. I m gonna go for them with all my energies. And please bear with me. I will ask you people more questions. Abt how to get comfortable behind the steering wheel. Thank u.

Good for you - that's a good start. Don't concern yourself with where you start, but how you start. Somehow you're going to have to make a better impression this time around. Try to be realistic when considering the things you could do better. Don't waste your time on blaming your trainer or thinking he didn't know what he was doing. I had a terrible trainer, so I know how that can be.

Everything that makes for success at this is based on your performance. Let that be your driving motivation.

Pay attention to your training instructions.

Be the best you can be.

Always ask, "What can I be doing to improve myself."

But this recent incident blew mind, that I was being nice to someone who threw me under the bus. And I was thinking. Well I could learn few lessons from this failure. Thanks again you guys. Yes. Through truckingtruth I hv applied to few companies. When I will reach home I will apply others as well. Right now I got email from driver solutions they asked me to call Heidi. On Monday at 9 am.

Did you talk to steve larsen or stan kasterke about getting another instructor? did you ask about working with the in house instructors on the pad? what about the fleet manager? they tell you in orientation to communicate problems to the FM. did he have someone else show you on the pad?

16 days and only 500 miles can be proven with your logs. id be demanding a new PSD instructor. however, those goi g to a regualr CDL school still get way way less than that and test and pass.

as for your contract, every contract states exactly at which point you are responsible. mine from years ago is completely different from newer ones so i cant tell you what it says.... so read it. most people do not.

Jim Palmer and Wils Trans wont take gou if prime didnt, so dont bother.

It was Saturday. No one was there And steve larson is the guy who sent me home. Yes. And just one day ago. My instructor asked me to sign the logs n signed all of then in one go. Yes I asked him to test me on the pad. N give me a chance. But he said. Your instructor evaluation is that you are not good at trus only your statight drive good. N we cant let u hv truck. I once tezt my rexruitor. But he dodnt reply. N I never talked to no one abt my instructor. . Should I apply to roehls ?

I think there maybe be more to the story but as Brett said apply everywhere. Somebody will give you shot one example I witnessed was while I was going through Schneider orientation an a guy was let go because he just could not shift. He said he got hired that same day by rhoel who was putting him in an auto. How far he went after that who knows. Point is you have plenty of options, companies are out there that will work with you.

Can u suggest what can be more to story ? I did whatever I could. After 13 days n so little driving he said he gonna put me with some one at the training pad. He said may be I am not able to teach u. Because I was his first student. And may be I told him that other guys in my group are doing more miles than me. And then when I came here I came to know that he threw me under bus.

If what you're saying is accurate then I don't think you'll owe Prime anything. If they simply decided you were taking too long to pick up on driving and decided to let you go then you're not under contract so you can apply to work anywhere you like.

Some companies aren't going to give you a shot because things didn't work out at Prime, others will. It really doesn't matter as long as someone will hire you and train you then you've got another shot and you should go for it.

How long were you on the road with Prime?

Yes sir every word is true. I was on road for 16 daysm n drive like only 500 miles. N three time backing. He said. I m good at starigh line but not on turns or signals.

What should I say to other companies. Will they also reject me cuz of one guys opinion. ?

Hello guys. Please take your time and help me out. I was at prime inc. I passed everything drugs medical etc and got 95% marks in CDL permit. My trainer didn't let me drive enough on the road and kept shouting while i was on the steering wheel. I bear everything and cleaned his truck in hoping he will teach me. But he gave review that I can not drive trucks.. Now prime inc is sending me home. Please tell me can I apply to some other company. And what should I tell them why I didn't get hired by prime. And I don't even know how much money I hv to payback to prime inc.

Please reply. I m very worried. I left my previous job and now I m jobless. What if I try PAM. Please give me advise. Thank u

Im at Prime and they are much more strict than other companies. Just tell the truth and admit it.

if it is only one ticket it isnt so bad.

call and ask for recruiter angela gomez. shes cool and knowledgable. once you apply you will be assigned a recruiter, so call first. i say this just cause ive spoken to her myself.

That shouldn't be an issue, but they will almost certainly require proof that it has been paid before they'll take you for training so make sure you take care of it asap

I am a little confused? Do you have a CDL permit? Did you get a ticket on your regular divers license? From what I have been reading, a minor speeding ticket less than 15mph over the posted mph limit, will be ok, as long as you are up front with the company on your application.

I think reading your post was a bit confusing for me, as you seem to have bounced around a little.

no sir, i havnt yet applied for CDL. But i m going to apply in next week. Just preparing for cdl permit exam. This ticket was on my regular license. At The police station that woman said she wont report this, because this is 49 at 45mph limit. I saw on her desk there were at 100 other tickets in that bunch. I m afraid, when i will report this to cpmany what will they say. Will they hire me ??
