Confused what company to choose from help!

Prime bought out Jim Palmer that's why you see lots of Palmer trucks pulling prime trailers. In my opinion with the list you provided I would go with prime or maverick. Try sticking with a smaller big company if you can I know several people who have went through prime trailing and continue to work for prime and make dead. Money and I have looked in to maverick myself a few years ago from what I seen they seemed to be prev x decent

Buying a C.B. radio

I'm currently running a new galaxy dx979 its a great radio160 bucks new had it peaked and tuned before I put it in she is around 30 watts for now. you can buy one from clays radio shop in San Antonio and they can ship it to you. Before this galaxy I was running a connex 4300hp which is a 10 meter radio with a band converted to cb band I now have it in my pickup I got a new Pete 579 and its got a cubby hole for the radio and it wont fit plus it has heat fins on back that have to stay cool. I have had galaxy's connex and stryker all 3 are great brands but in my opinion galaxy is the way lo go clear crisp sound especially with the right Mic. I had always been a road king Mic guy. I don't like astatic but I got turned on to these ranger mics and now I will always run a ranger quality sound is much better and the mics are 24 bucks on Amazon. Cobras aren't bad radios but there are definitely better ones out there

Quitting is getting tough

Abandoning a truck is one of the absolute dumbest things you can do in this industry. If you abandon a truck you can bet your sweet you know what they will put it on your dac and every job you apply for afterwards when they call your previous employer they will tell them you abandon their truck. Nobody wants to hire a guy that has abandoned a truck. You Will have a hard time finding another job. Imo You should have no reason to not return a truck. Look at it this way say you loaned your pickup or car to somebody they take it where ever they need to go and then call you from a 1000 miles away and say you can come get your car I'm not brining it back. Now I don't know about you but I'd be ready to hurt somebody if that was me.

Dash cams

Dash cams can work against you as well as help you. I personally will not put one in my truck. Ive been driving 7 years been in a head on accident and still proved it wasn't my fault.

Guess I am out of luck due to accidents.

My suggestion is try the big companies and get a copy of your dac so you know whats on it. Also companies look at tickets and do violations as well when they run your license so if you have excessive tickets that would be a reason why as well. And even tho you weren't cited for the incidents there is still a police report for those incidents you need to get copies of those so that it proves you were not at fault. And if you can prove your not at fault in those accidents most companies will do everything they can to get you approved with their insurance
