Starting All over again is a tough one

It's been a minute since I've been to the site. A lot has happened since then, now I'm trying to get back on the road again, looking for refresher course but since i was terminated from last job back in October of last year, and suffering from a broken leg (not job related) its been hard.

Hello Again

I arrived back in Houston yesterday from a SWIFT driving academy....I got good scores on all my tests with the exception of one. "AIRBRAKES" I had studied and practiced everyday, but each time I tested I failed it.I had rather it be with an instructor than at the DPS. During my stay I took sick and had to come home then return, then I was sent home yesterday I am so very disappointed in myself.Gotta find other options

Career Change

Good Evening All. I have always wanted to be a trucker, but the What If's? always stopped me. Now that I am 54 I decided to give it a try. I began orientation next week at the college here in Houston.
