Shock

so today i stoped by road master to see about there school they guy tells me it well be 6,500.00 for a 3 weeks coures.and then he tells me i would have to put at lest 1,500 down then after i start school they might need more down or i could pay it cash and it would be 4,500.00 and then he tells me all the great companys i could go to work for thur them and the routes but i was in shock i had my cdl before went thur school the state paid for it and it was like 3,500 from what i remeber from school in 2004 and from this site i could get my permits no proble and need a few trips around the truck for a pretrip tell my brains says we already no this and then maybe a 2 or 3 days of driving to be able to pass the road test also went to a teamster test and i might be going to way to get my cdl and lots of training just thought i would vent

Has anyone here worked for CRST?

Thank u i dont mind the team thing i think at first it would be a good thing the only thing that has me thinking if they are right for me a buddy of mine told me he had a few friends that went to work for them and as new drivers u would end up stuck at trucks stops for a few days waiting for loads not making any money as most loads go to drivers that have been there longer
