My name is Silas Harrell, I recently graduated Progressive Truck Driving School and received my Class A license. I'm forty years old and eager to become a successful truck driver and someday owner operator running my own fleets. My dream is to build my company to have something to pass down to my son Chase who is twelve years old. Prior to truck driving school I attended college and received my Associates in Criminal Science, then soon after a Bachelor degree in the same field. However, finding the best fit for me was far more difficult than I had imagined. Even with my degree. At this point I was introduced to the possibilities and opportunities as a professional trucker. Born and raised in Chicago, I want to see the world and soon relocate to a much warmer climate. I wish everyone well. See you on the road.

CDL graduate
Truckers,
I received my CDL with all endorsements in December. I was scheduled to start with Swift on Sunday but they screwed up my transportation and left me at the bus terminal with no ride. I have recently been turned on to Carolina Cargo South Carolina. The pay is more and the training is much faster. I don't have any felonies or criminal history. Do I give Swift another chance or move on with Carolina Cargo?
