What about diabetics and hair follicle test

Shawn G hear what I'm trying to say is I was on worker's comp I took lortab and tramadol in May and June and then I stopped taking though I went for a company and Iowa and they did a hair follicle test and a UA test I pass the UA but not the hair follicle yes I wrote everything down yes Tramadol and Lortab are allowed to be driven by the. And the United States government it's not illegal you just can't take the pill as you're driving only on your 10-hour break when they get the hair follicle test even though I wrote everything down including metformin and all my diabetes medication I still failed the hair follicle test but the company who did that set for $160 they would prove me innocent why is that why is the government allowing this to happen it sounds like a scam to me I wrote everything down I had nothing I do not do drugs so why is this happening because it's a Scamp that's how I feel if you know of a way that I can pass a hair follicle test and still take legal medication or over-the-counter medication that's legal and approved by The Deele. Please let me know thank you!!

Aren't those banned by the FMCSA anyways? If I'm not mistaken Lortabs and Tramadol are opioids which is a sticky situation in itself. I'm not judging you for any medical conditions that may require that but I can't imagine a company is ok with you operating a vehicle if you take those meds. Even if the DOT allows it your company doesn't need to. If you declare the prescriptions on your long form and provide the documentation that it's a legit script for you no harm no foul.

Lortab is not banned by the federal government or the. Yes you can drive on them talk to your doctor don't just write things on the internet also Lortab is allowed by the United States government and the. Again don't just write things on the internet all you know I have pain management I went through. Physical I went through a doctor I went to the DMV it's all legal and regulated you just cannot take it when you're driving but yes you can take it on your 10-hour break as long as you write down what you're taking and it's approved by the. But that does not answer my question the question is simply this if I blow a hair follicle test why does the hair follicle test company won $160 to do it 2nd test to prove I'm innocent even though I wrote down every medication post and past and present but yet they still want $160 to test a virgin hair to show I'm not on drugs!!!

What's your beef Sean? They provide you a federal form to list all your prescriptions before taking the test. So, what is your issue?

Thank you for your reply what I'm saying is I was on tramadol in June of 2020 and then Lortab May of 2020 these are all provided by a legitimate doctor through workers comp pain management I no longer take them and I did list all my medications on all the forms I can't tell you what trucking companies if I'm afraid I might get sued they did a hair follicle test but the company that does the testing said I am positive for methamphetamines but for $160 they would redo a hair follicle test on me and prove them innocent basically go deeper into the test I'm also a diabetic metformin and other diabetic pills also cause a false positive on a hair follicle test I wrote down all my medication past present for everything from every doctor I never lied but they still said I am doing methamphetamines which is not true on the other hand for $160 they would prove me innocent that's my beef and I say why is the government allow this to happen when the. Says they don't regulate hair follicle test simply because it's not as accurate as the drug company say they are!

To all those who replied thank you my beef is one thing you say Lortabs and tramadol are not governed or accepted by the FMCSA. But yet they are these are legal medications but they blow on a hair follicle test also metformin and other diabetes drugs will cause a person to blow a hair follicle test even writing it down company say well metformin will not do this but yet it's all over the Internet and every doctor will say yes metformin does cause a false positive but the government does not say well you have to do a more in-depth drug test but yet companies want you to pay $160 to prove your Innocent by testing Heather particles of your hair why not the companies just do the in-depth drug test at the beginning instead of trying to get the driver to pay for a drug test when the driver is trying to get a job that means the driver's broke has no money why else would we go to work?

I have a reply to everybody who's not talking about diabetes and medications when it comes to company and false positives on their hair follicle test I am a diabetic for over thirteen years now I do not do drugs but every time I take in hair follicle test because of my medication if you look online metformin Benadryl lortab and tramadol are all prescribed medications but they will cause you to blow a false positive on a hair test these companies $160 to test Virgin Hair to prove you're not a drug addict why is not the government's stepping into stop this?
