Training for my CDL in New Jersey

An old fart trying a new gig! Always wanted to be a trucker. Sick and tired of my old job I am having a go at trucking. Started CDL training right after my 51st birthday in Febuary 2016. My road test is scheduled for March 29! I passed my class a permit test no problem using online study guides. But took two more trips back to Njdmv to get my actual permit because they are so poorly run. I found the cheapest school around and they happened to be the closest so I payed for a two hour lesson. It was a nice Saturday afternoon and the instructor drove the truck to an industrial road in Clifton. All went well and I was driving the tractor back to the yard on some of NJs most congested highways.
