10 speed transmission question?

Sounds to me like you need to have your clutch adjusted ,if out of adjustment the throwout brearing will not hit the clutch brake to stop the trans from turning ,and since you are stoped when you try to put it in 1st gear you need to stop the trans from turning ,,,stop by any shop and have them check it ,only cost about 45 dollars to have adjusted,
