Kentucky CDL permit

I am fixing to take my CDL permit in Kentucky and have my DOT physical card on hand. I do have a question that hoping someone can answer. According to Kentucky's DMV, KSP (state police) run a quick wanted/warrant search or "hot list". I understand that this may cause delays in the process? What exactly is this search looking for....wanted persons is obvious, bench warrants? I don't have any skeletons in my closet (that I know of haha), just curious.
