Im looking for any first hand info. on Single Driveaway companies. How the process actually works with regard to fuel and tow equipment and load boards and forced dispatch and so on. Ive spoken to and been offered jobs by a couple of these companies but there isnt much hands on information on the websites and i dont want to go in blind or sign up before I get the real scoop if I can help it. Hi, I'm trying to find out the name of and website or URL of a company that hauls tractors from site to site. I once spoke to a driver that was doing it but have since lost the card he gave me. This compqny hauls tractors one art a timne to locations all over the lower 48. You drive the trqctor and flat tow your own vehicle behind the tractor. I remember seeing an add fromone company that would hire driver teams where 1 driver was experienced andone was a trainee. They called it the "train a buddy" program. It was for husband/wife teams or friends or whatever where 1 driver had experience but the other didn't. Anyone remember what company was doing this? The last time I saw the add was about 3-4 months ago. Any help would be appreciated by us both.
