Physical for cdl training school

Hey everybody, im new here and have been training on the high road training program for sometime. Im doing well. There is a lot of info to absorb for a class A cdl. My situation is this....ive been taking prednisone and it has caused weight gain to 320 lbs. Im hoping this doesnt ruin my chances for acquiring my cdl through schooling. Im going to try to get off this medication i know that and working out will help, but im concerned am i wasting my time? I have high blood pressure that is being treated with meds. I believe i can be in range for the 1 year med card. What does physical entail? All i think about is this new career. I want more than anything to get out there and do my part. Should i continue? Or is it wasted effort because of physical. Can someone tell me what this entails? Thanks

Physical requirements and what and how checked?

Can someone explain the process of what is checked and how it is checked? I have a few health conditions I'm hoping will not ruin my chances at becoming a truck driver. Rbild and elevated blood pressure. Thanks
