Is my trucking career fked?

Thanks for the reply rainy. But i think im just going to wait till 2020 january and then like you said start over with a company sponsored program. I already found two. Problem solved thanks for the replys.

Turns out that reckless driving thing is too big of a deal and no company wants nothing to do with me till 3 years of clean driving

Thanks for the replys.

Ill keep trying. The speeding ticket was my first and only ticket and i think here where i live the first time your given a second chance. I hired a good lawyer and got it wiped clean. No points or extra insurance. Just an online class and fees.

And if i have to wait till 2020 then it is what it is.

Thanks for the replys.

No, I think those companies don't offer training, and he's going to need it so they can get him insured.

I appreciate your somber mood toward this matter and if indeed i am screwed then it is what it is, i have no one to blame but myself. Ill just have to move on or wait 1.5 years and wait again.

As for my cdl last i checked its still a class a cdl as it says on my current licence.

I forgot to add one thing which is also a hinderance. A couple months after i got dismissed from crst orientation i went out and got a newer model musclecar and got caught doing 92 in a 50. My only ticket and melton claimed that is what made them not accept me. I hired a lawyer and got it taken care of. No points. My only run in with the law. When my first attempt didnt work i just figured it wasnt ment to be but i keep gravitating back.

If my 2nd attempt dont work ill just try again in 2020.

Is my trucking career fked?

At truck driving school i drove the semi with a 53 foot trailer around jacksonville for a combined total of a couple hours. I completly passed the truck driving school and have my class A in my hand.

I talked to schnieder and they said they didnt do anything to my dac. It was a non dot so i dont think its on my dac. Just an admition and its out there and i mention it right away cause i dont want to get kicked out again in the middle of almost getting there.

I would even be willing to do the schooling all over again but to me a refresher course is what most of the companies are recommending. I also wouldnt mind team driving for a couple months or with a trainer for a couple months. Deffently want to do this right but i know thr big insurance monster(for good reasons) requires all these.

I talked to crst just today. There policy like most of the big companies is 10 years no matter what.

Ill try out the list of companies that hires felons tomorrow.

Thanks for the replys

Is my trucking career fked?

2 years ago i went with crst. I finnished truck driving school. During orientation i "admitted" to failing a drug test when i was 18 in late 2009 to a local construction company. I know im retarded dont remind me.

I got kicked out. Recently i talked to Schnieder and did an sap but they still didnt want nothing to do with me afterwards.

Pretty much every company ive talked to dosnt want anything to do with me.

The ones that are maybe do not offer a refresher course because i havnt been in a truck for about 2 years.

Am i ****ed and just walk away or is there any companies that you know of that offers refresher courses and accepts no experienced cdl holders with a past failed non dot drug test.

Im going to keep calling every company i can but any advise would be great. Im completly drug and alcohol free.

If i have to wait 1.5 years for it to be 10 years then so be it. Cause that is the policy of many companies

Thanks

Dot sap evaluation

I got my cdl less than 2 years ago but haven't been able to use it yet. I paid off CRST and can now pursue trucking hopefully.

Back at crst i admitted in writing during orientation i failed a pre employment drug test. 9 years ago non dot. None of their business i know but i can be retarded sometimes. I was let go.

I contacted Schnieder a couple weeks ago and they want me to complete a sap evaluation. I was exposed to get a call today to schedule it but the lady never called.

My question is what can i expect from an evaluation and follow up? I heard it takes weeks to a year. What can i expect? I failed a marijuana test about 9 years ago when i was 17 or 18. I really want this so ima do whatever it takes.
