900$ a week and 26% he must be running under a branch of land star cause real landstar drivers are making 65%

I was just talking to a landstar driver in the lounge area, he said he makes 26% and is doing ok. Not getting rich but I think he said taking home $600-$900 a week, a little over a grand if he is really ******* it. Like I said not getting rich by any means but I have heard of a lot worse by several lease purchase drivers.

I see some guys on YouTube doing good in a down market but what's the general consensus about how things are doing over their?

They guarantee 1150 a week for otr and that sounds great but are they a good company and are they lying about this?

Been at a companies for a while and got used to setting my own PTA every day but was looking at going to crete but not sure if they let you set your pta or they start singing your phone after your in the sleeper for 10 hrs an 1 minute

Been thinking of going to a flatbed company but never drove a flatbed before, I've heard you can't turn too sharp or you could flip your trailer and I been in some tight spots where I had to turn sharp to get out of said situation is this true? Let me know thanx

Hey guys havnt been on here in awhile but I wanted to try something new and wanted some of your advice ok here goes i wanted to try a dedicated route and us express has a Wal-Mart dedicated account that sounded pretty good with being home weekly and picking up at a dc which would add to some consistency in the areas I know well which id love but not sure what the weekly pay would be like or really what to expe t in General, I asked my recruiter but I take what they say with a grain of salt but wanted to know what all you good folks have to say about that account or any experiences or any info would be good.

Wow I guess I should have checked this sooner but I've heard all this before but I don't understand how if we're leasing as a team how would we be paid? Would it be split pay or would we both get over a dollar a mile? This is not something I'm doing tommorow but an option we have talked about and something that sounded bullet proof to us with two incomes coming in on the same truck
