Hi Bianca! Funny I'm a class B school bus driver wanting to be a class A!!!! If there is anything specific let me know Ill do my best to help!

Here in Cali this is what we have to do:

A written exam on rules and regulations. At the CHP office. Then behind the wheel with the CHP, when you pass these you get a Special Driver's Certificate. ( good for five years)

On your license it will list your endorsements.

You can also choose to do your first aid with the CHP office doing it this way it will be valid for the length of your license and there's no cost or the American Red Cross which which cost money. (every 3)

Also you'll need a medical (every 2 years)

And to be fingerprinted (once)

Hi! I'm Lisa I am a school bus driver I have a class B license with a passenger endorsement, currently I drive a small bus with no air brakes.

I want how hard it would be to upgrade to class A. Also with the things I already have the applied like fingerprints, medical, first aid ect. Also with my miles count I've been a driver for 20 years!!!

Last would it be best to go to a private school to get trained. Thank you in advance for any and all responses!
