Ok just to clarify about the cdl permit disscussion so here it is.if you attend a cdl school in mo and your from out of state you can get a mo temp residence and mo.permit temp.if you go to training in mo and you are from out of state you must get your permit from your home state.prime is not considerd a school it is on the job training.i hope this helps people understand better.as that is my intention.

You have to have your permit 1st if your state requries you to habe physical to get permit then you have to have it you still have to do a physical at prime. This is going to go into effect in just a couple weeks my start date is 11/7/2016.those are the facts. Mo dor # is 417-831-2600 the best thing to do is call them for yourself so you know the facts also and so you are prepared.

Just to clarify everything on this permit disscusion and so you can give a heads up on this you must have your permit before you go to prime orientation missouri will no longer issue temporary permits for out of state residents. You will however take the cdl skills test in mo at prime mo will then electronically transfer your scores to your home state then you recieve your cdl from there.i have done the research on this to include calling the mo dmv this will be implented in the next couple of weeks.i truly want to thank everyone that commented and was trying to look out for a fellow potential driver it is cool to see. This is what i was told last friday by prime new laws being implemented in the next couple weeks mo will no longer allow out if state residents to test for permit in mo you must get them from your home state

Prime told me I couldn't transfer but a company in Joplin MO will let me transfer 🤔

Hi. I have a question. When I went through PSD at prime I could have transferred my permit from NJ to MO. From what I understand, the new law says you can no longer transfer the permits into MO. So all testing must be done in MO.

A forum member was told the opposite and is scheduled for prime orientation

Thats how it was originally but then my rec. Calked and said new mo.law you have to have it when you get there.and in fla. You have to have your phys to get permit.so a few extra $ but thats the way it goes on a good note i only have to upfront 100.00 instead of 155 in fla if you take the whole test and all your endorsements.you only pay 6.75 first time only so thats a bonus

Do NOT get your permit and physical. MO will not allow the transfer of the permit so you would have to pay twice....unless you live in MO that is.

Prime will do their own physical when you get there so again I is a waste of money.
