Schneider donates trucks; Congress considers women-driver-friendly bill
BTW... any bill.claiming to be for "women and other minorities" is basically saying "this is against all white men". racist and sexist.
This last bit here is why I won't bother putting together a response and you have clearly shown that you don't understand what these bills are meant to accomplish.

Schneider donates trucks; Congress considers women-driver-friendly bill
I am absolutely freaking offended when groups push for things like this women in trucking bill. what it translates into is:
"We think you are too stupid to find a trucking job on your own or to use Google to research trucking. Women need us to push them into something.... and even though they have no probelm finding articles on 10 Ways to Please Your Man in Bed and 5 Fashion mistakes.. they are apparently helpless in researching trucking. Furthermore, we will enlighten them into believing trucking is soooo difficult that they NEED us to push and guide them."
amazingly, no one ever questions how these "stupid women" are able to find lawyers for class action discrimination suits..... apparently their research skills are only limited to job hunting.
they must think Susan and I are freaking geniuses. we didnt need anyone's help!
I think you misinterpret what these bills are meant accomplish. They're basically ways to draw up attention to particular career fields where there are labor shortages and unequal sex ratios. Same thing has occurred in the IT industry. It helps the industry and promotes a new career path many women would never even think to consider. Most women I know still believe being a trucker is a man's line of work.

Prepaid legal services/insurance plan
I’ve always carried prepaid legal even back when it started as an mlm company. Now I carry it through MetLife and I use them all time. Any contract I have encountered has gone through them first for review.

It's for 1 week, that is my gross pay, I didn't include net since it varys on how people have their taxes and 401k set up.
Well that is impressive. I have a friend that works for OD here in Dallas but he does the city driving/delivery.

I'm guessing by the hours worked at the bottom that this pay stub is for 2 weeks worth of work? Is this net or gross?

Trucking companies not hiring from south Florida
From what I have read it's because there isn't enough freight moving in and out of Florida to give you home time.

Tesla announces new electric Semi model
People worry about the autonomous features as though it will be a job killer. It won't be. Much like the current Tesla's vehicles currently available it will offer "hands free" driving but it won't do the job for you nor will it remove the driver from the truck. In addition, you have to consider that the infrastructure isn't in place to accommodate an entire network of electric trucks, regardless of the range. For short haul, these trucks would be perfect. Could you imagine pulling into a gas station that's been fitted with charging stations but it takes the truck over an hour to charge up their batteries. Or different versions of charging and battery technologies so some charge faster than others. Today you pump gas as fast as the pump will go, everyone is at the mercy of the pump.

Welp, 3 years has passed and I never made the jump. My fear got the best of me and also I had some miscalculations on earnings and commitments. Specifically, child support that I didn't factor in. My earnings would drop but my child support commitment would remain the same and to lower it would be a timely and arduous process.
During that time I became even more obese and became pre-diabetic. When I received that news I was in a bit of denial and just popped my prescribed pills and kept on consuming mountain dew by the case load. My labs kept reporting back that my numbers were still getting worse and it wasn't until I was nearly at the point where I would need to take insulin injections that I finally snapped out of it. Happy to report that I kicked the soda habit completely and only drink water now. I am no longer pre-diabetic but I continue to take metformin every morning along with cholesterol medication. I know this will be an issue with being medically cleared but I just don't know how big a hurdle it will be. For all I know I won't need metformin anymore if my labs keep showing improvement. I need to cut carbs as well but one big hurdle at a time. I also quit smoking a year ago so I am trying to knock out a lot of bad habits in a short period of time.
So, now I am back, circling the trucking industry once again like a hungry shark. I have 9 months left of child support from my kids with my first wife. I have sold my house and am currently renting while the wife and I seek out some land in north Texas to plop down a house. I would prefer North Carolina but I don't dare move her and our kids away from her immediate family while I am away on the road for weeks if not months on end. I have my eye on Prime Inc. Flatbed and Millis Transfer. Millis has a school right down the highway from me so I wouldn't need to go away and I would be home each night during training. Any idea if Heartland buying Millis will change anything in how Millis operates?

Celadon Bankruptcy Imminent
I was just reading that as well. That the bank that funds those cards are jumping ahead of the filing and cutting them off.
