Pros and cons of team driving

I teamed for most of my career so far. Teaming can be beneficial in multiple ways just as it can be non-beneificial. A major plus is that you can double your miles and experience in your first year and be more desired by companies that pay more. (Its also nice to have a team member that can help with a tandem release that doesn't wanna stay in a lock position!) I had a somewhat procrastinating teammate and we still made pretty decent money, about $1200/weekly average (before tax of course.)

Also note my teammate was a guy who's 5'2 140lbs and I a 5'8 140lbs so niether of us needed a lot of space.

Hope this passage helped, and sorry for a late response.

P.S. its all about the company you team for and how much they pay, my company doesnt pay the greatest as it was just a started company.

Schnieder family dollar dedicated

Thanks Old school, The kind of comment I was looking for ill have to look into "Brett" about how long it can take to unload. I am young, and I don't mind hard work if it pays the bills and has me home to help a little more and a little more often. Thanks again!

Absolutely the worst account you could get on...I hear from alot of drivers at the terminals and all that it's not worth it....

Depending on where you live, there should be alot of other options as far as dedicated accounts go

This sounds like hear say, I was looking for a more personal experience. Thanks for the comment never the less. Still somewhat helpful.

Schnieder family dollar dedicated

There are a few other posting on this subject but none current enough for my liking. I won't go over pay but I am looking to hear from someone who may be a little experienced in the intense labor the family dollar account ask for. Is the labor something I should concern myself with? How much of your 14 did it eat up and what would be an efficient way to run an account as such as this one? (I currently drive with swift but swift is big on dedicated accounts up north or out west, not southeast.) P.S. I am not one to leave a company but I have exhausted all options with swift and just had a second baby. I can't ask my wife to do it all alone all the time.

Thanks in advance!
