Yes i am thinking of going to sage for my cdl any info on them / melton truck lines

thank-you.gif

Melton is a great place to get started as a flat-bed driver. It's a great place to stay as a flat-bedder.

I would say more, but John L stole my thunder! smile.gif

It's nice to have a few disciples taking up my message. It means I'm getting across to a few folks!

thanks peteB

I've done an exhaustive search on CDL companies, and chose Sage. If you read long enough you'll find negativity about every CDL school, every trucking company, but it was very very difficult to find anything to the contrary written about Sage. I am attending one of their schools that also is accredited by the PTDI, which many truckers will downplay, but several companies I've researched will only consider CDL graduates from a PTDI-accredited school. I also like the fact that they are not a company-sponsored school, so I will not be locked into any sort of contract. As far as their school that is accredited by the PTDI, I feel any advantage I can get over new graduates from other schools, I'll take. Good luck with your choice, I'm very happy with mine. I begin Mar. 27 in Billings, Montana. See you on the road!
