Thank you . im in indiana and the PTI is blind draw and i have studied the pre trip prob harder than i have ever studied anything lol the skills test seem simple, straight backing, offset backing and parallel parking. so i guess only thing left is on the road driving. gotta make sure i dont make any mistakes.

Thanks, i posted under general. No i have not used the high road training. i will check it out now. I am pretty confident in my ability to pass the pre trip and even fairly confident in the skills portions . Im just nervous about any little things i may have over looked or little things that may not be covered in the manual that is a good practice when testing.

Im going this coming Monday to take my cdl pre trip, air brake and skills test. Im extremely nervous because getting my cdl will qualify me to get a job that will change life for me and my family. I have no experience with big rigs or even commercial trucks so im trying to get any last min advice i can. Luckily i dont have to have a semi endorsement or manual endorsement. so i will be taking my test in a automatic straight truck and trailer with air brakes. I just want some feed back from people who have recently tested or may have experience testing. iv been studying every night for 3 weeks but nothing beats time behind the wheel and knowledge of testing procedures. ANY ADVICE IS APPRECIATED

AIRBRAKES IN A AUTOMATIC
Can anyone tell me the proper way to do the air brake test in a automatic. I know and understand all the steps, but one thing that has me confused is how to properly keep the truck from rolling when you do it. Do i keep it in neutral and make sure im on level ground? Or is there another way. Thanks
