How dangerous its for a women to work as a truck driver??
Hi lady truckers....new to this. I've been thinking seriously about cdl school vs company sponsor cdl school. Been in the medical field for 20+ years and have burn out,,,,also experienced a fall and broke my hip which is since repaired and healed. The only decent paying jobs is medical and trucking....had enough of the first. My question is...can a woman with osteoarthritis in feet, knees and back manage in driving? Comeents greatly appreciated!!! Love reading all the posts!!!

Strongly considering the dive into a trucking career
Hey Ladies...thanks so much for the info and advice! I appreciate every word! Even though I do have a few physical ailments I believe I will take a chance and go for it anyway, cause I can't compete with the younger people for jobs. QUESTION>>> what would y'all consider the best company for company sponsored cdl training? I want go quality training from people who care about be a good trainer and want the students to succeed! My husband thinks I am nuts and he has no confidence in me at all...he already has me as a failure....but even though he is retired, someone has to bring in more money, so I guess that leaves me. Thanks so much for allowing me to vent and ask question from all you ladies who has been down the same road! Y'all stay safe out there
