I have about 8 yrs experience in the 80s, 90s, and 2000s. Just none in the last 8 yrs. I left trucking last time in order to move to Pennsylvania to be with my now wife Linda, who has decided that she would like to be a Truck Driver. I stupidly let my? CDL lapse to a Class A non-commercial. Just completed Truck Driving school @ Sage Truck Driving School in Lebanon, PA. So now I'm off to a new trucking company. My wife Linda will be joining me after she completes training.

Depending on the fleet I choose the least it would be is about 14 cents per mile.
As far as training they pay $450/wk, You meet several trainers and pick. Since I am a returning driver training probably it will be about 2 weeks. Supposedly their drivers average about 2500 miles depending on the fleet. And I'm told that they guarantee your pay regardless of miles based on how long you're going to be out.

So I passed all my CDL test and have 2 primary companies to choose from LTI or Freymiller . LTI Orientation starts next week and is my first choice since they pay 20 cents a mile, and prefer their service area. Freymiller orientation does not start until 7/25. Is there any reason you wouldn't go with LTI ? Or any other thoughts?

I will be getting out of school soon And returning to driving. PTL is one of my strong considerations. They have a retirement plan and dedicated freight for Lease Opps. Really trying to decide between them, Transam, NCI.

Getting Enough Practice Time in Private CDL School
This is the reason I attended Sage Truck Driving School. Their policy is always 1 student 1 truck.
