Speaking as someone who used to work in HR for local government, I'd rather have fewer applicants, with a high percentage of becoming a successful hire, than I would to have tons of applicants with a low success rate.
Just my two cents from somebody currently going through the recruiting process.

I agree with Colin about hiring, but unfortunately there is too much freight to be moved. Someone mentioned how information is power, the truth is how one use that information makes it powerful. This site puts out alot of information for free. It is really up to the individual reader to determine how they will interpret and use the info given. I might not agree with everything written but this the best place to get insight on becoming a trucker.
When I retired from L.E, I was told that I'm still a rookie because you are always still learning. I got 6 months solo as OTD and love coming to this site for pointers.
