Where does starting a family fit in?
That's what I thought about being O/O...and that it's the insurance companies that set those policies. Well I'll just keep my eye out for a company policies... Of course I'll stay where I'm at for a minimum of 1yr.
WELs policy is 6 years old
Thanks RedGator!!!! Now to do some research on them :)

BACKING UP USING A DIFFERENT HAND HOLD ON THE WHEEL....THIS IS HOW i DO IT.
I don't see why not. They don't test you on where your hands are...just if you can back it up, and put it where its supposed to go. I still back up everything I drive with this handhold....So try it in your car...you'll begin to understand why it works,...you can't over steer...your shoulders won't roll that far. You just have to remember to KEEP YOUR HANDS where you put them...
Thanks Starcar! Keep your hands where you put them... So through out backing I leave my hands on the bottom, yet when I'm ready to move forward I can then shift my hands to (I think manual states) something like positioning each hand firmly on opposite sides of the wheel. Hence the previous question.

Be sure to read your State Manual before taking the written test.
Thanks all that's good 2 know! I've been studying like a nerd on the high road here and when I looked at the state manual I got thrown through a loop on some of them. That got me worried on not passing... I'm glad the slight difference won't mean I'll fail.

Well then I guess I'll just go with the flow! Bah! And believe me... Whitewater rafting got nothing on me.... Oyi! I think I'll need to visit the pharmacy .... Hopefully I'll get it only once while training... Ewwww... I was told I'd be having a bath every other day... Yuck! I may have to negotiate those terms... I know his wife so I think she'll agree... Hehehe

So....can we get some updates Ladies in trucking????
Hi all!
So it's been awhile since I've been on TT. I have to say that I was more prepared to take the exams then everyone else, thank you TT!!! I passed on the 1st try :) Just a recap - I went through Swift Academy in AZ, in Nov, I did 3wks & had to repeat a week #2 (skills) for not passing my evaluations... then on my 3rd (road) week I didn't pass my evaluations again... unfortunately I got sent home because the next weeks class was too full. 6 weeks later I finally got called back and graduated this time around!!! woohoo!!! Now to get driving :)
