I just got a BESTEK 1000w power inverter that provides 1000 Watts continuous DC to AC power and 2400W peak power with AC outlet. I haven't used it for refrigerator, but use it to charge coffee maker and juice blender. It works fine. If you're not very sure about it, you can try BESTEK 2000W power inverter.

Multiple power inverters won't be bulky but be very helpful for you. I have two power inverters in my truck, one 2000W and another 300W. The 2000w power inverter is mainly for appliances like coffee maker, refrigerator, TV, ETC. And the 300W power inverter is used to charge personal electronic devices like cellphones and tablets. The 300w power ivnerter is portable and lightweight, no worry about space occupying.

What do you want to use with the power inverter? If only cellphones, tablets and other small electrnics, then 200W or 300W car inverter is better. if you want to juice up high power devices, then you need to choose a inverter with higher power for your truck. I think 1000W and 2000W are better. I have a bestek 2000W power inverter for my motor home to keep my appliances and other devices on the go.
