I've been told and have read that you must be 21 years old or older before you can take the actual hazardous materials endorsement test at the DMV (or DVS), however, I find this confusing because I am 19 years of age and took the test at the DVS before fingerprinting or the background check, and my class A license with all endorsements including hazmat other than Passenger or School Bus should be in my mailbox in a few days. At the DMV there was no mention of Hazmat being an issue and my license was processed without a hitch. Is this something I'm going to get a nasty letter in the mail from the state of Minnesota about? Should I be concerned?
