Hello everyone! I'm currently enrolled in The CDL School with a graduation date of 10/27/17. I woke up one day and decided that I no longer wanted to be a teacher inside of the classroom (for various reasons) and I wanted to drive the semi truck. I grew up in a semi. My dad drove for many years (drove for Mayflower and Schneider). So, I know that this job is not for an individual that is not comfortable driving, being alone for extended periods, being away from family for a few weeks, etc. I would like any advice that you would like to provide when it comes to picking a company that may be a little more "female friendly". I've been looking into Schneider, Werner, PAM, and TMI, but if there are other companies that have locations in TX and are okay for inexperienced drivers, please let me know. Thanks.
