Testing backing skills

Hey everybody. Well I am on the way. Have my medical card (actually just a piece of paper) and I have my permit. The question is.....When backing up (straight line, 90 degree or getting into the next lane). How many times can I pull up to re position the trailer?? Also any tips on downshifting would be nice. I always forget the rev. So its clutch, neutral, Rev, clutch, gear. It s not like truckers do it that way.

DOT Drug Testing: Urinalysis or Hair Follicle?

Do What????? 5 years. 100% absolutely false. It takes .5 inch (a half inch) to test for 30 days. So to test for the 90 days (that is the norm now) they would need 1.5 inches of hair. The testing starts on the part of hair closest to your scalp and then works its way down the hair strand. The hair test is only done for the past 90 days. Any further testing longer than 90 days and the accuracy of the test diminishes. Now most drugs take 5-10 days before the hair grows out far enough and can be tested ****So keep this in mind when you are counting your 90 days clean. So if you want your test to be clean add the 10 days to the 90 day test. 10 days + 90 days = 100 days that you need to be clean before starting a school or new job. Or you can shave your head 2 weeks after your last drug use and when it is 1.5-2.0 inches long you are good to go. They will take about 40 hair strand from, your head. So bring a hat. As of right now hair testing is done mainly for the companies peace of mind. It is NOT required and the company that did the test cannot report it to your DOT. Hair testing is a lot more expensive than a urine test and some companies do not want the extra expense. Guide lines have yet to be finalized that is why some companies have not went over to hair testing and why nothing can be reported to the DOT. I am sure that will change.

Ok, I was just informed privately that CR England does both the hair follicle and urinalysis test. Thanks! That's one down and many more to go! I'll keep building the list as we learn more:

DOT Drug Testing: Urinalysis or Hair Follicle?

Do not know who reported info on Prime Inc. But that is false. Prime Inc does NOT test hair yet. Prime Inc. is urine testing only. I know cause I was there couple of months ago. It is an excellent program.

OK, I have some new updates from private messages. The new ones have an asterisk:

These companies do both tests:

* Knight (update: previously thought just urinalysis, but now it seems they do both

CR England

Roehl

JB Hunt

WEL Companies

Hair follicle test only:

Prime Inc

Urinalysis only:
