Is four weeks really enough?

Even then, on your solo First Dispatch, you might find a moment that you're standing there staring at your truck and trailer, thinking "Now what?!"

I can't speak for everyone but this was definitely me. I've been driving class a for a year but did 53s for four months then went local with side load and 36s I'm going back to regional in 2 weeks with a sleeper and 53s and it feels like the first time I started driving. Luckily I have 4 months of solo under my belt so I think after the first run I'll feel right at home. I'd say 70% of your knowledge learned is from your first trainer they are a great resource.

GPS THE BEST

The 2 things that have me shying away from the 740 is the magnet mount and no bluetooth connectivity. I would love the overdrive 7 but that's a lot of loot for a gps

GPS THE BEST

So a little back story I drove regional for Schneider on Walmart dedicated for awhile and they had gps built into the Qualcomm. Well I wanted to be home more than 48 hours so u did a local gig for coca cola well I dont want to be unloading 10 to 15k by hand no more so i switched to Ryder on a regional dedicated account for mmi door i will be monday-friday with to nights on the truck the rest will be home plus off weekends. Well I'm fairly positive they dont have built in gps in the elog system they run so I'm looking at the dezl 770 or ran Mcnally's 740. What's y'alls option on any gps or these ones?

DOT Vision Exemption

I would assume as long as you can pass your eye exam 40/20 you don't need any restriction or exception for your dot medical card. I actually wear glasses but pass the test without so I don't have a restriction on my medical card, just so if I happen to smash my glasses I can still drive.

Who got the Bedford dedicated account

Yeah I can agree with gtown I was told from hearsay that the walmart dedicated account I'm on was the only one of the 3 profitable I'm on the wintersville walmart account. I also heard via hearsay that us express got it? We have another 3 year contract but if this don't work I'll probably just do northeast regional home Sat and Sun every week.
