UPDATE I am not going the tanker route. CFI will take me back if that's what I decide
JMART- let em ask you, what do they pay you during training? Do they pay you while you're out with the other driver?
CFI pays 26 CPM while out with a trainer. Once you upgrade it jumps to 33 CPM. As you climb up to 120,000 miles you will go from 33 to 35 to 37 to 40 CPM. At 125,000 miles you will be at 41 CPM. This can be done in just over one year. I reached my one year mark on May 25th. I reached 120,000 miles shortly after that. In a week or so (mid to late June) I should get to 125,000 miles and 41 CPM. While out with your finisher you also get any detention, Northeast, layover, short haul and hazmat (if you have your hazmat endorsement) pay. I hope this helps.
BigScott, huge help thanks. Let me ask you after you submitted everything, spoke with them and had your background ran, how long did it take to get a start date? Who did you work with over there? Thanks boss! I am really considering this company
