Is a GED or HS diploma NEEDED?

Hey guys name is Dominic and iv been a lurker for quite a while over the last couple years while deciding if I wanted this career. I finally decided to take the leap and talked to a prime recruiter on Friday after applying online. After tons of research on here and my uncle started there years ago I'm bound and determined to do what ever it takes to get into prime. The class A permit, job history and physical should be a breeze for me. How ever it dawned on me today I don't have my GED or HS diploma this dawned on me after reading someone being sent home from another company for not having theres..

Will I have any problems starting with prime and not having my GED? Is there a anyone that would accept me for paid training type of program prime offers? I plan on getting my GED soon now as I see alot of class A jobs require it. The reason I don't have either is I started working full-time at 16 to help pay bills after my dad had a heart attack and wasn't able to work. Been working full time since than haven't had time to get my GED. I'd like to be on my way to a school before November so what's my options guys?
