I drove over the road back when I was just 22 for TransCold Express in 1967. It was a crazy time and I am lucky to have lived through the one year that I ran 2 log books and overweight most of the time.
My life went off in several different directions and I did not drive a rig again until 3 years ago.
Now I am 69 and just took a refresher course at NETTTS and will start training with Western Express next week in Nazareth PA.
This is going to be one of the toughest challenges of my life, but I am lucky to have the opportunity.
I will update in a few weeks.

Age Discrimination Date of Birth on every Application?
I am an experienced driver who will get my CDL in about 3 weeks. I have been driving rigs with Farm Plates for 3 years which don't require a CDL
In way above average shape/health for my advancing age...(notover 70)
Filling out job applications on line they all have Date of Birth required???
I am afraid that once they see my age they will not contact me.
These online aps also ask for my SS# which is not cool to do on the internet with all the identity theft going around.
Thanks for your help here.
