Who paying violations... driver or company?
Wow, a lot of good feedback here from everyone. I was tired of putting myself at risk for driving equipment that is out of compliance and today I drew a line in the sand. I’ve only been driving for a few months and feel that they’ve knowingly have put me at risk because of the lack of training. I continue to learn Something new every day and will continue to stand my ground because ultimately I have a family to get back to and so do people I share the road with. Thanks everyone!

I work for a small company and keep finding trailer with expired DOT inspection stickers on the trailers along with no trailer registrations. To the point where I don’t want to take them out on the road anymore. I’m guilty of doing so in the past. Because I’m so new to this trucking world who is responsible for paying these violations if I do happen to get inspected? Thanks for any feedback.

Im looking for some information regarding getting a job in the trucking business. Im a recent CDL CLASS A graduate and recently was declined a position because of my history. About 22 years ago I had two DUIs when i was 20 yrs old and another at 21. Obviously I was an idiot back then with no idea about life, and have grown a lot in the last 2 decades. Am i ever going to be able to find a job? Thanks for any feedback.

Her word against mine
Hello, I would love to get some feedback from truckers in this forum. About 3 weeks ago I was pulled over because the police officer said that I disobeyed a traffic signal. I was in the middle of the intersection making a left hand turn when the arrow turned from green to yellow. It's a 3 second yellow arrow so obviously I didn't finish my turn in that amount of time.
What are your thoughts about paying the $164 ticket or hiring a lawyer for a flat fee of $350 to Hopefully amend it to a non moving violation ($450 court fees) or maybe take it to trial to have it thrown out completely?
Has anyone encountered a similar situation? What was the outcome?
What are the consequences if I plead guilty and just pay the ticket?
(Sarcastically)Thank you Suzanne Zimmerman from Elwood, IL police department.
As always thank you TT.
