First of all, how is he hitting you? Is he joking around or just saying “come one man” or is he hitting you out of anger? I very seriously doubt he’s hitting you out of anger. From an outsider it just seems like you are looking for reasons to get off of his truck or to go back home. It’s really a bad look for you. If you want this just suck it up for a couple of weeks and get through it. If he’s “assaulting” you out of anger you would have already called his manager or gotten of his truck.

Is there not other hospitals or surgery centers that pay more for your position? Have you checked into that? That sure seems like small pay considering the job you do. I just assumed you would make upwards of 100k a year minimum.

That’s why your title says mystery because that’s exactly what it is. If there was a such company we would all know about it. Focus on getting that’s cdl first and get a year of clean, accident free, experience and then you can make a wish list. Good luck
